Bio
Kyle Virgien is a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU National Prison Project. He focuses on challenging unconstitutional conditions in ICE detention facilities and works to end mass immigration detention in the U.S. In addition, he has previously worked in impact litigation and advocacy on topics including the COVID-19 crisis behind bars, electronic surveillance by the government, and disability rights.
