Vedan Anthony-North is the Marvin M. Karpatkin Fellow with the ACLU's Racial Justice Program where she focuses on classroom censorship efforts, algorithmic discrimination in employment opportunities, and fair housing concerns. Prior to this role, Vedan worked at The Innocence Project, where she litigated post-conviction cases nationwide on behalf of individuals seeking access to DNA testing and relief from wrongful convictions. Before becoming a lawyer, Vedan worked for the Vera Institute of Justice, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and improving justice systems that ensure fairness, promote safety, and strengthen communities.
