This memo from Julie Thomas, the Deputy General Counsel of the National Security Law Branch, to the Deputy Counsel of the Office of Intelligence Policy and Review is an invitation from the NSLB to the OIPR to participate in a joint training session regarding the process for requesting Attorney General approval for [redacted] in accordance with Section 2.5 of EO12333. The training was planned in response to what Thomas describes as a realization that the procedures in place were not being consistently followed.
