Know what's fair. Know what you need to do. Know that everything is calm, and that you understand everything that's going on. We need to know our rights.

Academy Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin talks about why it was important for her to partner with the ACLU and Helping Educate to Advance the Rights of the Deaf (HEARD) on an American Sign Language video that lets deaf people know their rights when interacting with the police.
