Today, the New York Civil Liberties Union released a new video about religious freedom featuring footage from a candlelight vigil that was held on the eve of 9/11 just one block from Park51, the proposed Islamic Cultural Center in Lower Manhattan. The vigil attracted more than 2,000 New Yorkers and was organized by New York Neighbors for American Values, a coalition of more than 100 community, civic and civil rights organizations including the ACLU and the NYCLU.
