FDA Approves Emergency Contraception for Over-the-Counter Use

Yesterday the FDA finally approved use of the emergency contraceptive, Plan B, without a prescription. Unfortunately, as part of its approval, the FDA included an arbitrary and unscientific age restriction that not only infringes on privacy rights but will also deter women of all ages from purchasing the drug.
